Graphiste depuis 15 ans, Marie Gauthier explore et bricole depuis toujours autour de sa discipline. Adepte de linogravure, elle gouge et imprime sur multiples supports. Elle est la présidente de l’Atelier Grizzly, atelier regroupant des créateurs visuels sur Poitiers. Elle est aussi professeur à l’école d’ arts appliqués de Poitiers, à la Formation supérieure du Packaging de Cognac et à l’IAE d’Angoulême et intervenante sur des ateliers divers : Linogravure, animations faites maison, décors et meubles en carton…
« J’ai accepté de participer au cinquième acte du projet Wonderwall parce que l’idée de changer de support était un défi pour moi !Et connaissant D.O.G Association, je savais que l’aventure allait être belle !Je suis super contente de la fresque collective, la ligne noir qui fait le lien… c’était une super idée. L’oeil circule et se raconte une histoire avec tous les personnages présents sur le mur.J’ai tellement aimé le projet que j’ai décliné mon visuel en linogravure !J’ai passé un beau moment en compagnie de certains artistes que je ne connaissaient pas.Avec chacun un regard bienveillant sur le travail de l’autre. Ils m’ont tous aidés à avoir confiance en moi pour mon premier mur ! À refaire ! »
Marie Gauthier has been a graphic artist for 15 years. She has been exploring and doing things around her field of expertise. She does linocuts, she gouges and prints on any material. She is the president of Grizzly workshop, in which visual creators are regrouped in Poitiers. She also teaches the applied arts in Poitiers, but also at the Cognac packaging school and at the IAE in Angoulème. She also takes part in several workshops on linocuts, cardboard furniture and many more…
« I was willing to take part in the fifth act of the Wonderwall project because the idea of changing the support was a challenge for me ! I knew DOG quite well so I knew it would be a great adventure !I am very happy about the collective fresco and the black line linking everything together. That was a brilliant idea. The eye follows and tells a story with all the charaters on the wall. I liked the project so much that I did the visual in linocuts !I shared good moments with artists I had never met before. Everybody shared their work with pleasure. They all helped me to gain confidence for my first wall ! I’m ready to share the experience again. »
